DIY Baby Bib

Today for the first time I am going to sew something - not for me. I am making a Babybib, which I would like to give as a Present to a very lovely little girl. You have probably seen seen this fabric once or twice on my site, because polka dot is one of my favourite pattern i know. Especially pink fabric and white dots looks very feminine and sweet.
The best thing in making a baby bybis, that there is a lot free pattern you can find online. I choose that very simple model, printed out, and in one hour my babybib was done.

I used some leftovers after my pink lovely dress . Additionally I bought some interlining and this pretty blue piping. I washed my pink fabric and ironed with this magic interlining. After ironing this two should be like "glued" - and guess what.. so it is!

I wanted to make this project as unique as possible, so I added a little white peplum - something that i like the most!

It can be buttoned (if the small girl is not so tiny anymore) and it can also be tied. At the End I just needed to finish the babybib with blue piping and... here you go! My present is ready to wear!
